Ugh....cleaning

There isn't much I dislike more than cleaning my house. It's really hard to round up the energy to do it. Blah......

I'm struggling with storage solutions for my crafty supplies, they tend to multiply and take over every open surface. Aaaah! Attack of the crafting stuff!

On the plus side, I was at my mom's last weekend and found a stash of blankets we used when we were children. I'm going to clean up the photos and post em. Some of these are 30+ years old! Woohoo for handmade! Have a good weekend!

Random with pictures

Well, I finally finished my niece's fairy dress. I'm pretty happy with it, I hope she likes it. I had to remake the shift because the first one just didn't match the rest of it.

Here are the pictures of my front flower-less beds, all clean and ready for some green.

And this is my sweety in his dress Blues. We have a wedding next month and one this summer, both military so he had to get his dress uniform. This pic didn't turn out very well for some reason, I'll get more at the weddings.

I have a confession of personal weirdness to make. I find that when I'm close to finishing a project (doesn't matter what it is) I start to put it off and put it off till it's nearly overdue.
It's like I just don't want to let go of it, it's one of my creative children and I can't bear to let it leave the nest or be finished. Maybe it's that if it is unfinished then it still has unlimited potential but once it is finished I find all the flaws in it (and myself).
Does anyone else experience this weird reluctance or is it just my crazy self :)?

How does your garden grow?

: : :Our temperatures have finally climbed back into spring territory, thank goodness, so I spent the afternoon with Elliott planting some tomato seeds and weeding the front flower beds. They're about half done right now so no pics yet but when they are looking all pretty I'll put some up.

: : :I'm only doing some herbs, sunflowers, and a few annuals this year. I did way too much last year and didn't use half of what was produced :(. So I scaled back and aim to really get some use out of what I plant.

: : : Anyone else out there preparing their bit of earth for seedlings?
